My road to coaching began when I found myself at a crossroads in life. It was in the midst of a series of moments where I knew that my decisions could lead me in directions unknown.

I had been in a really tumultuous relationship, but couldn’t bring myself to leave. Then I got a call that turned my world upside down: My husband had died.

The following few years were a blur, as I tried to navigate life, not only as a widow, but as a newly-single woman in a world full of mixed messaged and “the dating pool has pee in it".

Instead of adopting that notion, I turned my lemons into lemon cake (I love cake!) and dove head-first into dating, with a goal of at least having better dating experiences. As I learned, I taught others, and what happened was more than I could have ever imagined.

Within 5 years, I relocated to Atlanta, took the dating scene by storm, landed my own TV series, met and married my now-husband, and had my first child.
